     During Fire Prevention Week, education of the community becomes of paramount importance. This time of year, those that normally extinguish fires re-double their efforts to prevent those same fires. The idea is to educate and entertain simoultaneously and make a rather droll and somewhat depressing topic fun and intriguing. The firefighters in Wellsville had fire truck rides, sprayed fire hoses, and cut apart cars, all to the delight and entertainment of the community, who, unbeknownst to them, were learning valuable lessons in fire prevention!! ALL this and games and food too!!!
