September is National Preparedness Month and the theme is, “Prepared, Not Scared.” Just as an emergency affects an entire community, the entire community is part of the solution when it comes to preparing for and recovering from an emergency.

Not sure how to create an emergency kit? Curious about flood insurance? Being prepared is easier than you might think. @BeReadyPA can help!

National Preparedness Month in September will be full of helpful #PreparedInPA resources. Join us THEN by signing up NOW for weekly preparedness tips, videos, and other resources right to your inbox!

Here’s how it works.
Anyone in the community can sign up to participate. When they sign up:
• They’ll receive an email each week in September that will include a weeks’ worth of tips with links for where to find more information.
• At the end of the month, participants will receive a brief survey.
• Those who complete the survey will receive a ReadyPA Team 30 Days / 30 Ways certificate.
• Those who complete the survey will also be included in a random drawing for a survival flashlight/radio/charger.
